So here’s there second edition to Feature Friday. This week, we’re featuring Brendon Virtucio and his choreography to Stupid Hoe by Nicki Minaj. All I can say is that I’ve watched n’ learned from this guy and I’m hella proud to see him grow so much. Hopefully we’ll get to see more choreo from him soon.

Hey guys! So I decided to bring something new to the website for those who are a constantly supporting us and what we do. Thank you guys for the continuous support either by sharing links, tweeting, blogging our material or even just checkin’ out the site for our new work. So what I’ve decided is to feature a different choreographer every first friday of each month. Giving you guys a little taste of the talent that can be found in Winnipeg. The featured choreographer for February is my home boy, Casey Simbulan. He is a choreographer and dancer for Sikat Dance Company, Assorted Goodies and YTC. Puttin’ a little piece together to Frank Ocean’s Novacane.

Sikat: 1st Place Champions @ World of Dance Chicago

In their first competition outside of Canada, Sikat does it again. Bringing home the first place prize, and the crowd favorite award. Congrats to all their hard work and putting Winnipeg on the map.

Ottawa gets Meeerked

I had the honour of teaching in Ottawa for the Under-Rated Workshop a couple of weeks ago. Here’s a video of the Winnipeg choreographers that Angel and Shawn brought out. Thank you Angel and the Ottawa dance community for coming out and taking the class. It was a really good class with an awesome vibe.
