This looks like it might be the one.  Priced at $2999.99 USD. Released in March.  Apparently Canon might be announcing the 5D Mark III sometime soon so it’ll be good to wait and compare the two.  At 36-megapixels this D800 might be a little storage hungry for my uses, and besides I’m not printing billboard sized ads, and Canon has traditionally been better for video.  Switching to Canon though would mean I’d have to sell my lenses though :S.  Time will tell.
